Announcement

Round 29 of CAPRI has three targets:

Target 65 and 66 - a protein-peptide complex.

Target 67 - protein-peptide complex.

T65 and T66

Both targets, from the laboratory of Dr. James Keck (university of Wisconsin, USA) are complexes of proteins bound to the same peptide ligand, which is derived from the C-terminus of the single-stranded DNA binding protein (SSB) from bacteria.  This peptide is a common docking site for many proteins in bacteria (see Shereda et al (2008) Crit Rev Biochem Mol Biol, vol. 43, p. 289 for a review if interested).
