The IntAct 247 release has now been made public. Together with its IMEx partner databases, IntAct now provides a total of 1,572,071 binary molecular interaction evidences curated from scientific literature.

Comparison of IMEx human miRNA interactome coverage between the latest and previous releases, including the new import of the curated human miRNA interactome from Helwak A et al., 2013 (PubMed: 23622248).

The new IntAct release also features:

  • 378,294 new binary interaction evidences from 49 publications.
  • Biggest increase in the high-confidence interactions exported to UniProt, in total more than 133,600 proteins with one or more cross-references added.
  • Import of Human miRNA interactome with ~17,500 mRNA-miRNA binary interactions (from 600 interactions to >18,000).
  • Collaborative effort with OpenTargets on tissue-specific interactome. Check the new preprint “An atlas of protein-protein associations of human tissues prioritizes candidate disease genes” to find out more.
