The PDBsum text search allows very simple searches of the text
found in the PDB header records, which include the TITLE, HEADER,
COMPND and SOURCE. the search is ideally suited for single words, such as
|
1ksz
- Entrapment of 6-thiophosphoryl-imp in the active site of
crystalline adenylosuccinate synthetase from escherichia
coli, data collected at 298k
|
To get round this, you can enclose the word, together with a space in front of it and one behind, within double-quotes:
Another example might be crystallin from rat. Merely entering:
will find not only all crystallin structures which contain the word "rat", but also those containing the word "temperature"
1gcs
- Gamma-b crystallin (previously called gamma-ii crystallin)
low temperature (150 k) structure
COMPND: LOW TEMPERATURE (150 K) STRUCTURE |
Again, the way around this is to make sure "rat" is treated as a single word by surrounding it by spaces and quotes:
which gives:
1a5d
- Gammae crystallin from rat lens
