History
The design of the pentapeptide inhibitor tynorphin was based on that of spinorphin, with deletion of the N-terminal and C-terminal residues (Yamamoto et al., 2000).
Peptidases inhibited
Dipeptidyl-peptidase III (DPP III). Ki for the human enzyme was 75 nM (Yamamoto et al., 2000) whereas DPP III from Drosophila melanogaster was more weakly inhibited (Mazzocco et al., 2003).
