Name
- Common name
- ONO-5334
Inhibition
- History
- There is strong evidence that the activity of cathepsin K contributes to the loss of bone matrix in osteoporosis, so it is logical to consider inhibitors of cathepsin K as possible therapeutic agents (Boonen et al., 2012). ONO-5334 was described by Ochi et al. (2011), and has been the subject of animal studies and clinical trials.
