The Report
A standalone summary of your shortlist
The report is a full, self-contained summary of the iBGCs in your shortlist. You reach it with Generate Report; it opens on its own page, has a shareable link, and is where all the downloads live. Think of it as the deliverable you hand to collaborators or take into experimental planning.
What’s in it
Header
The number of iBGCs and assemblies in the shortlist, and the download buttons.
iBGC results table
One row per iBGC with the fields you need to act on it: accession (with Validated / Type Strain / Partial badges), parent assembly, organism, phylum, biome, size, novelty, domain novelty, GCF, class, source tools, and contig coordinates.
BGC stats
A panel of charts summarising the shortlist as a whole:
- Domain composition — every protein domain in the shortlist, tiered as core (in most iBGCs), variable, or rare. This tells you what machinery your candidates share versus what is unusual.
- Domain composition × GO slim — the same domains crossed with coarse functional categories, as a heatmap.
- GCF distribution — how the shortlist spreads across gene cluster families (sunburst).
- Score distributions — histograms of novelty and domain novelty across the shortlist.
- Completeness — complete vs partial clusters.
- BGC classes — the mix of biosynthetic classes.
- Length distribution — cluster sizes.
- Predictor distribution — which detection tools contributed.
- Source distribution — iBGCs per source collection.
Biome & taxonomy
Sunburst charts showing the environments and lineages your candidates come from — useful for judging how ecologically or phylogenetically broad your shortlist is.
Assembly roster and stats
The assemblies behind the shortlist, each with its organism, phylum, biome, source, size, total BGC count, and how many of its iBGCs are in your shortlist — plus assembly-level biome/taxonomy/source breakdowns.
Downloads
From the header you can export the report as JSON, an iBGC table (TSV), a GenBank zip, or a self-contained HTML file. See Export Formats for what each contains and when to use it.
