How can I make a general enquiry?
If you have a general enquiry not related to a specific deposition, please email to empiarhelp@ebi.ac.uk or follow this link .
Please, provide us with as much relevant information as possible. This will help us provide you with the best support.
How can I contact you about a specific deposition?
Please, find the email EMPIAR has sent you about your deposition and reply to it.
The moment an entry is created we send you an email, whose subject looks like the following:
[empdep-help #
For example, for a ticket identifier 12345 and deposition identifier 6789, the subject will look like the following: [empdep-help #12345] EMPIAR deposition - internal ID 6789.
If you created just one entry, then you should find only one email thread in your email provider, with such a subject.
If you have created multiple depositions, then you should have multiple emails each with a subject containing the corresponding deposition id. Using the date and time the email was created might help identify the correct email thread corresponding to the deposition you want to contact us about.
In case this is not sufficient, using the deposition identifier would unequivocally identify the email thread associated with a deposition.
If you don't know the deposition identifier yet, please proceed to the next section titled “How to find deposition's unique identifier?”
.
Once the deposition's unique identifier is known, you can search by subject in order to find the associated email thread.
For example, given 6789 the unique identifier of an entry, the subject would contain the following:
EMPIAR deposition - internal ID 6789.
Once the email thread associated with a specific entry is found, just reply to it. Our team will take a look and respond as soon as possible.
In case you can't find the email associated with the deposition of interest, please proceed to the section “How can I make a general enquiry?”. Please, provide us detailed information about the deposition you're contacting us about. This includes the deposition identifier, when possible.
