DefinitionAny member of a group of tricyclic diterpenoids isolated from Magneporthe grisea-infected rice leaves or Rhizoctonia solani-infected rice stems. They were initially identified as cassane diterpenoids, but were subsequently found to have the enantiomeric (ent-cassane) configuration.
