Reactome achieves CoreTrustSeal certification
The Reactome Knowledgebase has received CoreTrustSeal certification, a formal recognition of its commitment to the long-term stewardship of high-quality, accessible, and trustworthy biological data.
This certification follows a rigorous review process evaluating Reactome against 16 CoreTrustSeal criteria, including data integrity, preservation, governance, and user access. The designation affirms Reactome’s robust infrastructure and dedication to serving the global research community through sustainable, FAIR-aligned practices.
Reactome is an open source, open access, manually-curated and peer-reviewed pathway database. As a Global Core Biodata Resource (GCBR) and a key part of EMBL-EBI’s open data ecosystem, Reactome supports a wide range of applications, from omics interpretation and systems biology modelling to tool development and machine learning. The certification further reinforces the confidence users and collaborators place in Reactome as a dependable foundation for research, innovation, and interoperability.
