InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 40000 entries.

InterPro version 97.0

New features include:

• The addition of 274 InterPro entries.
• An update to NCBIfam (13.0) and PANTHER (18.0).
• Integration of 285 new methods from  the NCBIfam (80), Pfam (106), CATH-Gene3D (1), PANTHER (43), CDD (55) databases.

InterPro 97.0 covers 81.8% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2023_05. 

It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 145 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.

InterProScan 5.65-97.0 uses data from the newly released InterPro 97.0, which contains 40,562 entries.
