Submission guidelines
Guidelines for submission to IPD-MHC NHP
Non-human primate sequences can be submitted to the IPD-MHC Database in order to receive an official name. However, there are required conditions for the acceptance of new sequences for official names. Please read the following conditions carefully before submitting sequences.
- An accession number in a databank must have been obtained. Sequences may be submitted to these databases online at the following addresses: EMBL, GenBank,DDBJ.
- Full length sequences are preferable though not essential; the minimum requirements are exons 2 and 3 for an MHC class I sequence and exon 2 for an MHC class II sequence.
