What type of files can SAT work with?¶
SAT requires JSON EMDB-SFF files with all geometry data removed to make them small enough to work with online.
I have a segmentation generated from a popular program. How can I annotate it?¶
First, convert it into an EMDB-SFF then convert it to a JSON EMDB-SFF without geometry. Then use SAT to annotate the JSON EMDB-SFF without geometry, which can then be merged back to the original EMDB-SFF file.
Can I convert EMDB-SFF into other file formats?¶
At present this is not yet possible. We plan to include support for this in future releases of sfftk.
Is the SAT the only way to annotate an EMDB-SFF file?¶
No. You can annotate a segmentation on your local computer using sfftk.
