DefinitionA papulacandin that is papulacandin A in which the 6-O-acylgalactosyl group is replaced by a hydrogen. It is a carbohydrate-containing antibiotic from the deuteromycetous fungus Papularia sphaerosperma which shows potent antifungal activity against Candida albicans.
