EMBL-EBI hosts its infrastructure in three physical locations, providing resilience and disaster recovery. The scale of the data managed, and the infrastructure to process it, places high demands on the data centre team. The data centre team ensures that all hardware in the data centres is installed and operating properly, while also ensuring standards around racking, cabling, cleanliness and general management are met.
