Open data resources for eDNA

In today’s scientific age, generating your own data is not always essential for making new discoveries. Global scientific communities share a wealth of data through publications and repositories. Sharing your own datasets in these repositories or exploring publicly accessible ones can uncover important details, highlight gaps in collective knowledge, and inspire innovative questions for further research.

In this collection you will explore two open data resources which are useful in accessing as well as submitting datasets related to environmental DNA:

Another open data resource, not covered in this collection, is the Sequence Read Archive (SRA), which accepts data from various branches of life science studies, including metagenomic and environmental surveys.
