What is the ArrayExpress collection?
The ArrayExpress data collection is a public archive for transcriptomics and other functional genomics data at EMBL-EBI. It supports FAIR sharing practices and follows community guidelines on metadata standards. It provides easy access to well-annotated functional genomics data in a structured and standardised format, called MAGE-TAB. It is a major data source for the knowledgebase Expression Atlas and Single Cell Expression Atlas.
The data collection is now found within the BioStudies database. The interface for the ArrayExpress collection in BioStudies has many specific features for exploring functional genomics data, which we will explore in this tour.
