This session will introduce InterPro’s protein annotation database and teach programmatic access through APIs, with a focus on protein families and domains. Following an introductory lecture, attendees will engage in hands-on activities to practice retrieving these specific features using guided API queries. The session combines theoretical foundations with practical experience in automated data retrieval from InterPro.
