Sediments from Lake Wuliangsuhai and soils from Wuliangsuhai wetland were surveyed to characterize the structure and diversity of its microbial communities using barcoded pyrosequencing based on the 16s rDNA. Investigations of sediment and soil bacterial communities were believed to be able to obtain a better understanding of aquatic and wetland ecosystems.
