The sampling event occurred at position latitudeN=-31.9378 and longitudeE=-177.2962, on date/time=2017-12-10Z, at a depth of 9994 m. The sample material was collected in the marine biome (ENVO:00000447) targeting a layer of marine sediment (ENVO:00002113), 0-1 cm below the seabed surface. The sample material was not-size-fractionated, packaged in a ziplock bag labelled HADES_Kermadec_53_5_0_1, with no addition of chemical, stored in a freezer (-80degC), and sent to Ifremer, S�te, France. This sample may be used for metabarcoding analysis.",
