                "text": "<p>This entry represents an alpha/beta motif that is found tandemly repeated in the homologues of human Mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 14 (Med14). Med14 is a component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Med14 along with Med17 are scaffold subunits in nucleating Mediator [[cite:PUB00154060],[cite:PUB00151584]]. The major portion of Med14 exists in the Head-Shoulder module of the Mediator and consists of nine tandem repeats (RM1 to RM9), which are arranged in an atypical right-handed helix [[cite:PUB00151584]]. This entry represents repeat RM6.</p>",
