DefinitionA hydrochloride salt resulting from the formal reaction of equimolar amounts of alvocidib and hydrogen chloride. A cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) inhibitor, it has been studied for the treatment of acute myeloid leukaemia, arthritis and atherosclerotic plaque formation.
