DefinitionAn organic sodium salt resulting from the formal reaction of methylcarbamodithioic acid with 1 mol eq. sodium hydroxide. It is used as an agricultural pesticide, mainly as a broad spectrum soil fumigant for the control of weeds, nematodes, soil-borne insects and fungi.
