DefinitionA racemate comprising of equal amounts of (R)-bopindolol and (S)-bopindolol. It is a non-selective antagonist of β1- and β2-adrenoceptors and a prodrug in which the ester group is hydrolysed to form the corresponding hydroxy derivative.
