DefinitionA hydroxamic acid resulting from the formal condensation of the carboxy group of 2-[2,6-dichloro-4-(3,5-dimethyl-1,2-oxazol-4-yl)anilino]benzoic acid with the amino group of hydroxylamine. It is an inhibitor of mRNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) demethylase FTO (IC50 = 2.6 μM) that exhibits anti-proliferation activity.
