DefinitionA hydroxycoumarin that is 4,7-dihydroxycoumarin substituted by a 1,2,6,10-tetramethyl-8-oxoundeca-2(E),5(E),9-trienyl moiety at position 3. Isolated from the roots of Ferula fukanensis, it exhibits inhibitory effects on the production of nitric oxide (NO).
