DefinitionA racemate composed of equimolar amounts of exo-(+)- and exo-(−)-cinmethylin. It is a soil-applied preemergence herbicide developed by Shell Chemical company and used to control annual grasses such as green foxtail and bamyardgrass, it also supresses the growth of several annual broadleaf weeds such as prickly sida and velvetleaf.
