DefinitionA racemate comprising equimolar amounts of (R)- and (S)-carfentrazone. A protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor, it is used (generally as the corresponding ethyl ester, carfentrazone-ethyl) to control broad-leafed weeds in potatoes and cereal crops.
