DefinitionA member of the class of indolones that is 1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one substituted by a 3-oxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-ylidene group at position 3. It is the active component of Dang Gui Long Hui Wan, which has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat inflammatory diseases and chronic myeloid leukemia.
