DefinitionA member of the class of isoindoles that is 4,7-dihydro-2H-isoindole substituted by methyl, oxo, methylamino, and oxo groups at positions 1, 4, 5, and 7, respectively. It is produced by heterologous expression of the fluostatin biosynthetic gene cluster from the marine derived Micromonospora rosaria SCSIO N160 in Streptomyces albus J1074.
