CHEBI:140972 - lysophosphatidylcholine 22:5-ω−6

ChEBI IDCHEBI:140972
ChEBI Namelysophosphatidylcholine 22:5-ω−6
Stars
ASCII Namelysophosphatidylcholine 22:5-omega-6
DefinitionAn acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine in which the acyl group contains 22 carbons with 5 double bonds, with a final carbon-carbon double bond in the ω−6 position, i.e. the sixth bond from the methyl end of the fatty acid. If R1 is an acyl group and R2 is a hydrogen then the molecule is a 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine. If R1 is a hydrogen and R2 is an acyl group then the molecule is a 2-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine.
