Overview:

This lecture provides an introduction to the protein structure prediction algorithm AlphaFold, a high-level overview of how AlphaFold works, how to obtain and interpret predicted structures, and how to access structures in the database AFDB.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this session you will be able to:

• Define AlphaFold2 and how it can be applied to prediction of protein structures
• Navigate the predicted structures entries in AFDB
