Screen scoring method:
Each well subjected to a dsRNA (or reagent) perturbation is summarized by a vector (or phenotypic profile) of 13 numerical descriptors. The 13 numerical descriptors are: number of cells, median cell size, median cell eccentricity, median actin to tubulin int. ratio, median nucleus size, median nucleus intensity, median nucleus to cell size ratio, fraction of actin fiber cells, fraction of big Cells, fraction of condensed cells, fraction of metaphase cells, fraction of lamellipodia cells and fraction of cells with protrusions). Numerical descriptors range from +AC0-1 (very low), 0 (normal) to 1 (very high) and a phenotype can be a combination of different numerical descriptors. For each reagent, we list the numerical descriptor(s) and the associated score(s) that contributed to assigning a reagent/gene to a specific phenotypic class.
