Course Overview
This course is a guide to the UniProt resource, covering the types of data it provides and how to access the data using the UniProt website. It will go through the protein information and analysis tools available in UniProt in a series of presentations and hands-on exercises. The Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) is a comprehensive resource for protein sequence and annotation data. UniProt aids scientific discovery by collecting, interpreting and organising protein information in one site so that it is easy to access and use. It provides tools to help with protein sequence analysis as well as links to more than 150 other biological databases to help you access additional information.
