Auxiliary Data Mappings

Sometimes, when creating mappings between sources, auxiliary data is required. This may be obtained here.

Most sources within UniChem create URLs for compound specific pages by simply appending a src_compound_id to a ‘base URL’

For example, appending the ChEMBL src_compound_id 'CHEMBL59' onto 'https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chembldb/compound/inspect/' will give... 'https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chembldb/compound/inspect/CHEMBL59', the compound-specific page in ChEMBL for this compound.

However, some instances of UniChem may contain sources that create URLs for compound-specific pages by using strings or identifiers (called 'auxiliary data' here) that are different to the src_compound_ids for the source. This is not very common, but is dealt with in UniChem by use of an additional mapping step for these sources, which can be achieved on this page.

Currently there are '4' sources in UniChem with auxiliary data These are listed below. Select a source, then hit 'Map' to retrieve the mapping of all current src_compound_ids from this source to corresponding auxiliary data for these src_compound_ids.

The 'View in Browser' option is currently limited for use only with sources with less than '10000' src_compound_ids currently assigned.
The 'Download' option creates a gzipped tsv file, named 'srcX_aux.txt.gz' (where X is the src_id of the source).
Download files are pre-generated and cached in order to speed download times.
