Molecules

The Molecules tab displays details of the molecules associated with the event or object selected in the pathway diagram, including links and accession numbers in various external databases (Figure 32).

By default, this tab lists all the molecules contained in the selected pathway diagram. Molecules are grouped into subsections titled Chemical compounds, Proteins, Sequences and Others. Each molecule is represented as an open/collapse panel.

Download

The ‘Download’ button at the top of the molecules tab (highlighted in Figure 32) allows you to select and download details of the molecules in tab-delimited format (with the file extension .tsv). You can select the molecule subtypes and information fields you want included using the check boxes on the left side (Figure 33). Click ‘Start Download’ to save the file (highlighted in red in Figure 33). To return to the list of molecules, click the ‘Molecule View’ button.
