Metabolomics
Metabolomics is the large-scale study of metabolites which are substrates and products of metabolic reactions taking place within living beings. It is a powerful methodology which can directly mirror the underlying biochemical dynamics and condition of cells or tissues through the measurement of metabolites and their concentrations.
This tutorial offers a thorough insight into metabolomics, comprising an overview and applications of metabolomics, guidance for designing effective metabolomics experiments, and suggestions for relevant resources from EMBL-EBI. It can be completed in approximately an hour.
