Collection
Methods and resources for omics studies
A curated collection of EMBL-EBI on-demand training
Omics studies entail the analysis of extensive datasets across various domains, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and more. Such studies offer deeper insights into intricate biological processes. This curated collection is designed to introduce key concepts and valuable resources, facilitating the exploration of functional genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and spatial omics data. Additionally, it highlights relevant methods and tools for analysing, integrating, and visualising omics data.
Who is this course for?
This collection is for anyone who would like to learn about basic concepts in omics studies and the associated resources and tools. No prior knowledge of bioinformatics is required, but undergraduate level knowledge of biology would be useful.
What will I achieve?
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Describe key concepts across various types of omics studies
- Identify resources from EMBL-EBI useful for omics data exploration
- Explore methods and tools useful for omics data analysis
- Discover additional on-demand learning materials relevant for omics studies
