How do I share my data?
The first step in data sharing is deciding which resource to upload your data to. Different resources accept different data types and specialise in different areas, so it is important to choose the right resource for your data. Fortunately there is a data submission wizard to help you find the right EMBL-EBI archive for your data in a few simple steps.

Once you have chosen a suitable archive, the next step is to upload your data. The submission process varies among different resources however all EMBL-EBI data resources have detailed guides to help support you through the process and people called biocurators who provide a help desk to assist with submission problems or queries.
If you have questions, the best time to ask them is at the start of your submission planning, rather than waiting until you are ready to make the data available.
