Finding information about genes with Ensembl
Ensembl, one of the resources you tried out in the ‘Journey through bioinformatics’ course, is a genome browser for vertebrate genomes that supports research in comparative genomics, evolution, sequence variation and transcriptional regulation. Discover a a bit more about what you can do with Ensembl with the quick tour, a short introduction to the resource.
This quick tour will take about 30 minutes to complete. If you would like to learn more about Ensembl, other courses that go into more detail about the resource are provided at the end of the quick tour (Get help and support on Ensembl).
