Searching InterPro

You can search InterPro using:

  • Sequence search, which uses the InterProScan analysis tool to predict the family and domain information for an amino acid sequence;
  • Text search, using InterPro entry names, short names and identifiers, member database signature short names and identifiers, UniProt identifiers and short names, gene names, GO terms, PDB, proteome, taxonomy and set identifiers, or free text, to find information in InterPro relating to your query;
  • Search for a domain architecture, for entries related to a Pfam model;
  • Browse through InterPro entries, member databases, proteins, structures, taxonomy, proteomes or clan/sets.
