What data is available in the IMPC portal?
The IMPC portal (Figure 3) disseminates the wealth of data and results generated by the IMPC and makes it freely available.
Information provided on the IMPC portal includes:
- Details about and access to all mice produced
- Protocols for all experimental phenotyping experiments conducted
- Experimental data collected and results of the statistical analysis, as well as the resulting gene-phenotype associations
- Publications associated to IMPC data and products
You can use the IMPC portal to:
- Look up a gene, and determine the phenotypes associated with it, as well as potential diseases
- Download all data and images, or specific subsets of the data
- Select mouse models that exhibit a specific phenotype or disease
- Search for available knockout mouse strains and order them
- Find information about the different phenotyping protocols that the IMPC applies
- Explore our publication, blog and documentation pages to learn more about the IMPC results and processes
The IMPC portal is designed, managed and maintained by dedicated individuals and teams within the IMPC.
