The Study page, part 2
You can view all studies in the GWAS Catalog via the study page (Figure 12a). This page includes interactive checkboxes, allowing users to filter by study type (currently GxE or seqGWAS studies).
Figure 12a This is an interactive subset of the GWAS Catalog studies page to explore all the available studies and filter them by GxE or Seq-based studies.
We have enhanced the visibility of Gene-by-Environment (GxE) association studies, which investigate interactions between genetic factors and environmental exposures such as diet, social inequalities, pollution, and infectious agents.
Studies with a GxE interaction term are now clearly indicated on the study page (Figure 12b). This information is also available in the studies download file.
Figure 12b The Study Information panel on each Study page now includes a flag indicating whether it is a GxE study.
The studies page also allows users to filter studies by whole genome/exome sequencing (seqGWAS). You can check the seqGWAS box (Figure 12a) to display only sequencing-based studies.
