This tutorial introduces participants to the EMBL-EBI's Job Dispatcher service, which provides access to a wide range of bioinformatics sequence analysis tools through a unified web interface. The course guides learners step by step through submitting jobs and interpreting results from sequence alignment and sequence similarity searches.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for anyone interested in exploring sequence alignment and sequence searching tools. A basic undergraduate-level understanding of life sciences is advantageous but not mandatory.
What will I achieve?
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Describe the basic concepts of sequence alignment and similarity search
- Explore the Job Dispatcher websites and discover the available sequence analysis tools
- Use various sequence similarity search tools effectively

How and when to access the course
