Viewing data on the COVID-19 Data Portal
The COVID-19 Data Portal can be accessed via the browser to discover lots of COVID-19 related data.
To Search for data in the COVID-19 Data Portal, several methods exist:
- Using the main search bar – this allows for both free text search, and structured queries, where syntax can be generated from advanced search (see below).
- Using the facets on the left hand side of each data type page. For example, on the Viral Sequences page (https://www.covid19dataportal.org/search/sequences), you can select from options such as WHO lineage, collection date and country.
- Using the ‘Advanced search’ – https://www.covid19dataportal.org/search/advanced-search. In the advanced search you can construct your query for your data type of interest and search.
