Additional information, including cross-reference to MatrixDB, the Protein Ontology and Signor may be added (Figure 12). Literature references to other relevant publications such as reviews and functional papers are linked to EuropePMC, and all complexes are given a systematic name which is the concatenation of their gene names and it includes stoichiometry – these are based on the Reactome naming rules [2].
