Using text mining: UniProt
UniProt provides the scientific community with a comprehensive, high-quality and freely accessible resource of protein sequence and functional information.
In this video Michele Magrane, UniProt Annotation Coordinator, EMBL-EBI, discusses how UniProt uses text mining for biocuration, and demonstrates use of the PubTator tool that provides automatic annotations of biomedical concepts such as genes and mutations in PubMed abstracts and PMC full-text articles.
