Working with sensitive data
When working with data relating to health we often have to consider whether the data is ‘sensitive’. For example does the data relate to individual patients and is it possible to identify who those patients are.
In the following video Marcos Casado Barbero, Metadata Bioinformatician at EMBL-EBI, discusses what sensitive data is and how controlled data resources that contain sensitive data are able to archive and share the data with researchers.
