Introduction
With the recent advances in AI, and in specific LLMs, the growth of biomedical data is exploding. Curating this data is a substantial bottleneck. The AIBIO-UK AI Readiness workshop, hosted by EMBL-EBI and funded by AIBIO-UK, brought together AI experts in bioinformatics from both academia and industry, to discuss the state of the art, strengthen collaboration within the AIBIO-UK community and establish future AI readiness community needs. This collection brings together the context and full recordings of all the lectures and discussions from the workshop.
