Using the UniProt basket
The basket enables you to save proteins that you are particularly interested in, without having to search for them again. You can add proteins to your basket from search results pages for the UniProtKB, UniRef or UniParc datasets. Simply select them in the results table by checking the tick box to the left of the protein name and click on the ‘Add’ button by the basket icon (Figure 18).
You can also add proteins to your basket from the protein entry pages, using the ‘Add to basket’ button towards the top of the page. Once you add entries to your basket, you will see the number on the basket changing to show that new proteins have been added. Clicking on the basket button will show your saved proteins (Figure 19).
