Analysing data
In addition to being a reliable database of cellular pathways, Reactome provides several tools to analyse user data against curated information. The various tools are listed below:
- Pathway enrichment analysis
- Gene set enrichment analysis
- Molecular interaction overlay
- Expression overlay
- Disease overlay
- Species projection
- Tissue projection
- Functional interaction analysis
Explaining each of these tools is beyond the scope of this tutorial and will not be covered here. Check out Reactome: Tools for analysis of biological pathways course for more details.
